New York and California based Professional Teleconcepts, Inc. (Pro-Tel) provides Engineering, Furnishing and Installation (E,F&I) services as well as staffing solutions to the telecommunications market. For more than 20 years, Pro-Tel has been offering a broad spectrum of EF&I services to customers nationwide in both Central Office applications and Outside Plant Environments. Pro-Tel offers staffing resources to many diversified industries.

Pro-Tel's customer list includes regional Bell Operation Companies, major switch and broadband equipment manufacturers, and a variety of local and national telecom service providers. Our capabilities include design, provisioning and installation of switches, transmission and broadband equipment, power plants, CEVs and CEMHs, co-location cages, wireless and most other telecom infrastructure equipment. Pro-Tel has been an industry leader because of its infrastructure and highly trained workforce.

Professional Teleconcepts was incorporated in 1984 in Norwich, NY. Now more than 20 years later, it has offices based in New York and California. After successfully providing quality installation services to regional bell companies and the worlds largest switch manufactures the company expanded to include full engineering, furnishing and project management as well as installation.

In the mid 1990s the telecommunications industry went through a revolutionary change, and explosion of innovation transformed the industry. With growing popularity of second phone lines in the house driven by the fax machine and then the rise of the internet, the telecom and communications industry required more engineers, more technicians and more material than ever before. Pro-Tel was there to meet those needs. Because of our core values of Quality Installation, On-Time Delivery of Service and Customer Satisfaction, Professional Teleconcepts was stronger than ever by 1999.

In 2000, Pro-Tel became a wholly owned subsidiary of Quanta Services, Inc., (NYSE symbol: PWR). This relationship allows Pro-Tel to stay focused on the company's core in the telecommunications field, while providing added financial strength and access to other Quanta companies that specialize in related fields.
